Doing multiple weddings every week, we know which wedding elements tend to make brides most excited – the ones that are crafted and specially perfected, probably late into the night. One of these said doted-on details is the seating chart. Yes it is a tool intended to get people’s behinds from the door into their proper seats, but we ladies know it is actually a representation of how much thought and creativity has gone into our entire wedding. Thus, you don’t mess with the lady’s chart, boyz. Let her go; let her spend more time beautifying that list of names than she ever did getting herself ready for a date. It matters.

Here we share with you a few of our favorite, outside-the-box, charts if you are looking for some fresh ideas!

MIrror Seating Chart

We saw a mirror seating chart recently and loved it! So simple, but so much more interesting than a typical poster board chart.

Polaroid Seating Chart

Grab your name and replace it with a Polaroid shot – how cute is that? Plus you will end up with a guest book album!

Custom Button Seating Chart

Buttons! This is adorable. They even custom designed them for each guest. We’ve also seen this with old keys – it’s a great way to combine guest favors with the seating chart.

Frame Seating Chart

SO SIMPLE! But look at how classy and clean it looks… This adds a new (improved) twist to a basic picture frame chart.

Leave a Note Seating Chart

We think this would make a great seating chart if you arranged the envelopes by table. Another example of how a seating chart can become a guest book.

Alphabetical Seating Chart

An alphabetical seating chart – why don’t we do this more often? It is much easier for guests to find their names and look how dang pretty it can be.

Washing Line Seating Chart

Who says a seating chart has to be a square? This one obviously likes to have a good time. Awesome decor element + well organized and easy to read. This can also be done with flags or other hanging decor.
